Come to the bird show arena to witness the amazing talents of our feathered friends. It's an up-close encounter with a whole cast of characters. Some birds fly right over the heads of the audience, while others share their hidden talents. Two different shows starring a different cast of characters. Aviators:Superheroes of the Sky at 11 am and Avian Idol at 2 pm. Aviators uses "field reporters" reporting in on cool birds from around the world and Avian Idol has birds showcasing their talents with one winner triumphant by the end of the season. Both shows free with the price of admission!

Amazon Adventure Open!
Walk into the enclosure and the sun conures, brilliantly colored Brazilian parrots will fly to you, perching on your arms and eating right out of your hand! This is truly a special experience to be this close to such spectacular birds. For $2 enjoy this nose-to-beak experience. Daily at 10:30 am, 11:30 am and 12:30.
Avian Alcove Open!
Indoor kids activity space opens with scheduled crafts, games and story times for all ages. Saturdays and Sundays 12 noon, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Do it yourself activities anytime! Beginning June 1 scheduled activities will be daily.
Wildlife Encounter Zone Opens!
Located right in middle of the Aviary this is the place to meet our bird show trainers and birds show stars up close. The bird show stars will share some of their talents while the trainers share fun facts about the "stars" and their individual personalities. Stop by throughout the day because different birds will be visiting each time.
