Tracy Aviary’s Jordan River Nature Center was established in 2020 to connect people with the birds and nature of the Jordan River. On the 19th of September 2023 the board of trustees for the Tracy Aviary approved a name change for the Jordan River Nature Center to become “Nature Center at Pia Okwai”.

Back by popular demand! It's more bird misconceptions! 

Despite being "egg-cellent" bakers, the Ovenbird gets its common name from its dome-shaped ground nest. Ovenbirds are not native to Utah, and are instead found in eastern North America and winters in Central America.
