ABOUT BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRDS tracyaviaryconservation.org/broadtail

In our summers, this feisty bird fills our mountain air with the high trill of its wings. Broad-tailed hummingbirds arrive into our mountains to nest. During the months of May-September, you can see them both in the valley and high up in the many canyons that surround us. This important pollinator is a Species of Conservation Concern in Utah. Hummingbird walks are a fun way to observe this animal and offer your observations to the protection of its wild homes!
