Taking Flight Nights: The Environment of Modern Agriculture

March 12, 6:00 pm

Categories: Aviary Events

Join us in our interactive series: Taking Flight Nights: Teen STEAM Cafés at Tracy Aviary!

Please note that these programs are for ages 13-18.

These events are designed just for teens! Hardworking members of our Teen Advisory Board have invited professionals in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math to share their work through engaging hands-on activities and discussions.

The theme for this Taking Flight Night is The Environment of Modern Agriculture. We will be joined by Elisa Stone of the Ethical Choices Program, who will lead us in a presentation and hands on activity on how our food choices affect the environment. If you've ever been curious about what you can do as in individual to help our planet, this is a great opportunity to learn more and find out about how your grocery shopping habits affect more than just what's for dinner!

Gates open at 5:45 pm. Food and fun start at 6:00 pm.

Please register here to make sure we have enough food for you!
