Program Descriptions

Pop-Up Nature Center

Our educators will set up a station with rotating themes all centered on different aspects of the Jordan River ecosystem. One day we might explore the mighty Fremont cottonwood trees, and the next we may focus on the industrious beaver. No matter the subject, we'll have hands-on materials and activities, so be ready to discover something new! We'll stay in one place for a couple of hours, so you can drop by any time within that timeframe.

River Walk

This program is mobile, so be sure to join us at the scheduled start time. We will walk the Jordan River Parkway Trail, a fantastic community resource stretching the entire length of the River. Along the way, we'll see what the local flora and fauna are up to and enjoy the mental and physical benefits of a stroll with friends. The trail is paved with little elevation change, and walks will primarily be in the cooler morning hours, reducing some of the typical barriers to spending time outdoors. If you have questions about a specific location, contact us!

Relax at the River

Enjoy a casual evening hang-out at the Jordan River. We'll have nature-based self-guided games and activities for all ages, so take some time to unwind with family and friends! Drop in any time within the scheduled timeframe.
