Please email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:events@tracyaviary.org\">events@tracyaviary.org<\/a>\u00a0if you need to cancel.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\"><strong>About Jeanette Lukens<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Jeanette Lukens is a relief print maker working mostly with wood and linoleum blocks that are hand-carved and hand-printed.\u00a0\u00a0While the majority of her work consists of black and white prints of iconic southwest landmarks, she also creates color prints using a reduction process or multiple blocks.\u00a0\u00a0Jeanette participates regularly in juried art shows and markets throughout Utah, and her work can be found at Four Lemons Art Gallery and the Tracy Aviary, where she recently completed an Artist\u2019s Residency Program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\"><strong>What are Relief Prints?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Relief prints are produced by removing bits of wood or linoleum from a block, and then rolling ink onto the remaining block to create an image. White areas are removed or carved out of the block using specialized tools. Black or colored areas print from the bits of block that remain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\"><strong>Purchasing Prints<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Visit Jeanette&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jeanettelukensart.com\/\">website<\/a> or visit\u00a0her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jeanette_lukens_art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a> to purchase original, hand-printed images (these are not copies of an original work, they <em>are <\/em>the originals, generally in a series of 10, 20, or 40).
