DESCRIPTION:A spin-off of Tracy Aviary’s popular Let’s Go Birding Together program! \nJoin Tracy Aviary educators and horticulturists explore plants in the Wasatch with other LGBTQIA+ folx and allies. No experience necessary – we’ll provide hand lenses\, plant guides\, and all the know-how! You just need to dress for the weather\, bring water and a snack\, and come ready to learn and make new friends! \nPrepare for a fantastic adventure with breathtaking views and plenty of learning opportunities. \nREGISTER \nHike Details: \n\nThe hike is a moderate 1.5-mile out-and-back trail that leads to the reservoir.\nDuring the hike\, we will learn why trees drop their leaves\, enjoy the beautiful colors\, observe seeds\, and explore the reservoir before returning to the parking lot.\nIt’s common to spot moose in this area.\nFor those interested\, continuing to Bell Canyon Falls is a more challenging option. This additional hike is short but demanding\, and it’s also incredibly scenic and worth the effort.\n\nMeeting Point: \n\nWe will meet at the Bell Canyon Preservation Trailhead\, a large parking lot situated on top of the hill between two small roadside trailheads for Bell Canyon Reservoir.\nHere are the GPS Coordinates: 40.571529\, -111.798139\n\nFor your convenience\, here’s the specific Google link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/pavTELBixXh8LMEy9 \nLogistics: \n\nWe are sorry that we can’t provide transportation for this hike.\nOur meeting time is 9 a.m. at the trailhead.
