SUMMARY:Eco Justice Course
DESCRIPTION:This class will be an introduction and exploration of Eco-Justice\, which is an approach to conservation and environmentalism that takes into account social issues such as race\, gender\, class\, and colonialism. This course will engage with topics like: critical consciousness\, the origins of nature and wilderness\, community based climate and environmental movements\, food justice\, and Indigenous ecological knowledge. \nThis course is full.  Please email Daniel at DanielH@tracyaviary.org to be placed on a wait list. \n*The Oct 2023 class is being offered free of charge\, but if you have the means and are able to make a donation of any amount that is greatly appreciated. If your circumstances allow\, we recommend a donation between $15.00-25.00.
