Locations Currently Offering Programs (please note that these change seasonally):

General Holm Park ADA Stroller

1050 W Carlisle Park Ln, South Salt Lake, UT 84119

Park and meet in the parking lot at the end of the road.

General Holm Park is a large, trailhead park to the Jordan River Parkway.  The Jordan River Parkway Trail is paved, mostly flat, and shared with bikers and joggers.  We also access the nearby Meadowbrook Natural Area by the use of smaller dirt trails. (Restrooms accessible near the parking lot.)

Jordan River Nature Center ADA Stroller

1125 W 3300 S, South Salt Lake, UT 84119

Parking lot is located off the South side of 3300S and the East side of the Jordan River.

Meet on the porch of the green building. The trail is paved and partially shaded. The nature center has bathrooms and water available. 

Liberty Park ADA Stroller

Park in Tracy Aviary’s parking lot and meet in front of Tracy Aviary.

The park consists of large grassy areas as well as wide, paved pathways used by many park visitors. Groves of trees provide adequate shade throughout the park as well as around the perimeter of Liberty Lake.

Miller Park

1710 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84108

Street parking is available in front of the park and on neighborhood streets.  Meet at the base of the park steps on 900 South.

A large staircase leads visitors down to the meeting area. This trail is narrow and somewhat rocky, with Red Butte Creek flowing below. While it varies slightly in elevation, it does consist of a few steep areas where handrails are provided. It is fairly shaded on either side and shared with other hikers.
