Summer Break Camp Goes Virtual

All New Virtual Camps

In-person Summer Camps Have Been Cancelled

After reviewing the guidelines set forth by the CDC, American Camp Association, and state and local Health Departments, it is with great sadness that we announce in-person camps scheduled for summer 2020 have been cancelled. This was not an easy decision for us to make, but it was made in order to assure the safety and health of your child and other children in our care.

We know outdoor play and learning is an important part of camp so we have structured our virtual programs with limited screen time and plenty of outdoor activities! Review and register for our virtual camp programming below.

What to Expect

Virtual camps are sold by the week. Once you are registered, we will send you information on accessing camp materials. All camps are facilitated by Tracy Aviary educators and include the following:

  • 6-9 live sessions for campers to socialize and see behind-the-scenes at Tracy Aviary.
  • Numerous outdoor and non-screen-based projects that kids can work on at home.
  • Craft supplies available to pick-up at Tracy Aviary.
  • Some camps will include optional 1-hour field trips for a guided experience from our educators.
  • We estimate a week of virtual camp to be 15-20 hours, including live sessions and time for activities away from the computer. Each camper is an individual and some activities may hold the interest of one child for a long time while another child may not be as engaged. For this reason, we have incorporated different types of activities throughout the week.
  • One free adult and one free child admission to visit the Aviary after camp.

Price

$100 per week unless otherwise noted

Ages

Unless otherwise noted, camps are for kids going into K-5th grade. Breakout sessions will be used for kids to socialize with their peers.
