Meet-Your-Bird-Days
When you adopt at the $200 level or higher, you will have the opportunity to meet your new feathered family member!
Bring up to three guests with you for a personalized, one-on-one experience led by our talented and educated bird care staff. You will learn what it takes to provide top-notch avian care, including information about diets, toys, and the tools used to maintain your bird’s health and welfare.
Just as all the birds at Tracy Aviary are unique, all Meet-Your-Bird Day experiences are unique. This thirty-minute experience may involve stepping inside your bird’s exhibit and/or getting a look behind the scenes, but differs for every bird. The golden eagle, king vulture, and trumpeter swan exhibits are not open to the public. (Adopt the black-necked stilt or hooded pitta for a feeding experience that is kid-friendly! In all cases, children 12 and under must be supervised.) To ensure safety for all birds and guests, Meet-Your-Bird Day experiences will vary at bird care staff’s discretion and may not involve an up-close encounter with your bird.
