Autumn Field Work Workshop

The workshop begins with a guided tour led by a Tracy Aviary botanist. You’ll learn about one of Utah’s native tree species, the cottonwood, and the important role it plays in our local ecosystem.

After the tour, it’s time to paint! Beginning with a guided demo, you’ll learn how to use watercolors to capture the colors and textures of cottonwood trees. From there, you can work at your own pace, either exploring the Nature Center grounds for inspiration or continuing alongside our teacher to complete your piece.
