Let’s Go Birding Together: Christmas Bird Count

Join us for a special edition of our Let’s Go Birding Together program! Let’s Go Birding Together is a casual, guided birding program especially for LGBTQIA+ folks and our allies. This month we will be participating in the Christmas Bird Count at the Nature Center at Pia Okwai.

The National Audubon Society’s Christmas Bird Count is the longest running community science project in the nation (more history here). Now, anyone can get in on the fun and contribute data used to monitor and protect birds!

Join us on December 14 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. for this FREE program!

Enjoy counting birds in the comfort of our heated Bird Blind! Our educators will teach you the basics of birdwatching during the program.
