Let’s Go Birding Together at Rock Cliff Nature Center!

Join us at Tracy Aviary’s Jordan River Nature Center for a casual, guided bird walk along the Jordan River Parkway especially for LGBTQIA+ folks and our allies. This program is made for adults to connect with each other and the incredible birds who call the Jordan River home.

No bird watching experience? No problem! Our educators and conservation scientists are experienced bird nerds and will help you spot and identify birds along the trail. We’ll even have freshly-sanitized binoculars and bird guides for you to borrow (Thanks, Utah Division of Arts & Museums, for funding these tools!).

We are excited to be partnering with the Wasatch Mountain Institute! Please meet us at the Rock Cliff Nature Center in beautiful Jordanelle State Park! We will meet there at 9 a.m. We offer transportation in our 15-passenger transit van to all events. Register to receive instructions for joining the carpool. If you would like to carpool please meet at Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park at 7:45 a.m. We will leave promptly at 8 a.m.
