The Joy of Bird Feeding: Session 2
Looking to know more on providing the best environment for local birds? This is the series for you!
Each session covers a different aspect related to feeding backyard birds. This course looks at bird identification, best feeders and bird food, water features, native plantings and landscaping for birds and feeder placement for optimal viewing and bird safety. Participants will also learn about reporting your bird observations to expand the knowledge base of bird populations.

- January 31 Best feeders and food for your birds
- February 14 Native plants for native birds and solving problems at the feeders
- February 28 Birding with a Purpose: explore community science opportunities

Bio: Jeanne Le Ber is a retired health sciences librarian who has been birding since 1980. Jeanne, along with her partner Ray, volunteers at the Tracy Aviary in Liberty Park and at Pia Okwai cleaning and filling their bird feeders on a regular basis. Jeanne teaches for Osher, a lifelong learning program for adults 50 and older hosted at the University of Utah.
