Utah Water Watch Training

Join Utah State University – Water Quality Extension here at the Nature Center for an interactive, hands-on training session to become a UWW volunteer! Tracy Aviary has adopted a monitoring site on the Jordan River, and volunteers will help collect water quality data once a month from April through October. The data we collect helps inform policy and can also support future funding to improve our state’s water quality.

Participants will start indoors for an overview of monitoring protocols before heading out to a local site for field practice. Please come prepared for a short walk and Utah’s unpredictable spring weather—this event is rain or shine!
