Utah Youth Environmental Solutions visited the Nature Center at Pia Okwai to continue their work on local ecological issues and also participated in an umu (earth oven) with Tufunga Fei`umu (Master Cook) Samoana Matagi from Tracy Aviary and Tecun who is an assistant professor of Indigenous Communication and cultural studies at the U of U.
