Habitat

Coconut lorikeets live in mangrove forests, lowland and wooded hill habitats, wooded meadows, swamps, and rainforests.

Nesting

Nests are usually located in holes in decaying wood high above the ground (80 feet), such as hollows of eucalyptus trees. Females lay two white, round eggs and incubate them for 23-25 days
