Diet
Feeds on fruits, nuts, and flowers. A large part of its diet is made up of mountain almonds.
Habitat
Found along edges of lowland tropical forests.
Nesting
Creates its nest in the cavities of old growth trees, particularly the mountain almond tree on which it also depends for much of its diet. Lays 2-3 eggs with an incubation period of around 26 days. Fledging occurs approximately 90 days after hatching.
