Diet
Feeds on large arthropods, small birds and mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and bird eggs.
Habitat
Tree and scrub savannas, scrub woodlands, pampas, pastures, and coastal dunes.
Nesting
Participates in co-operative breeding where more than one female lays eggs in the same nest, and previous year’s offspring help to raise new chicks. Lays 5-7 blue eggs splotched with white on a large open platform nest.
