Metallic Starling

Aplonis metallica

 

Diet

Eats fruits and insects.

Habitat

Inhabits rainforest, coastal woodland, and mangroves.

Nesting

Nests are domed with a side entrance and are constructed from twigs, vines, and bark and are lined with palm fronds and fresh leaves. Lays 1-4 eggs that are pale blue and splotchy brown in color. Only the female incubates the eggs.
