Diet

Eats small animals, including insects and lizards. Occasionally eats vegetable matter including berries, shoots, aquatic plants.

Habitat

Prefers open, dry areas, but also inhabit coastlines, wetlands, rocky areas, cultivated fields, and shallow river banks.

Nesting

Nests of sticks are built on edges of high cliffs near water. The female lays 2-4 eggs that are blush white with small brown spots. Both parents incubate for 24-28 days.
