Diet
This goose mainly grazes on grasses and aquatic plants, but it may also occasionally eat crabs and small fish.
Habitat
Found in wetlands, rivers, lakes, and agricultural areas.
Nesting
Nests are built on the ground, and normally lay 5-6 eggs. This species has been observed building their nest the vicinity of peregrine falcons or other birds of prey, which defend the nests from the attack of arctic foxes.
