Diet
Fruits and seeds; occasionally, they strip the leaves from plants.
Habitat
Seasonally humid forest on Socorro Island is the last known wild habitat of this dove. Its last sighting in the wild was in 1972.
Nesting
Little is known of its nesting behavior in the wild. In zoos, Socorro doves will use platforms and small nest boxes. Lays 2 eggs with an incubation period of 14-17 days. Fledging occurs after 14-20 days.
