Diet

Forages on the ground for insects, seeds, and fruit.

Habitat

Dry savannas and brush.

Nesting

Builds an elaborate nest made of thorny branches, typically high in trees. Lays 3-5 eggs. Incubation is 11-14 days, and fledging occurs 3 weeks later.
