Exploring Nature Speaker Series: Making Friends with Utah Pollinators – Creating a Pollinator Garden

Join Tracy Aviary monthly, April – August, for our new Exploring Nature Speaker Series, which features six afternoons of nature-inspired fun with local experts and luminaries. This event is included with admission.

Many pollinators are facing critical habitat loss and steep population decline. As individuals, we can make a big difference. Learn how to attract native pollinators in your urban garden, support interconnected habitat corridors, and take part in citizen science projects to monitor Utah’s native pollinators.

About the Presenter

Parker Lloyd has spent nine years studying plants in the Intermountain West. As a horticulturist at Tracy Aviary, he curates the plants in the Tropical exhibits, and brings a knowledge of dry-adapted native plants in support of pollinators to our urban gardens.
