Expedition Kea includes three separate enclosures for birds from Australia, Africa, and more! Here’s where you can see charismatic birds like the blue-faced honeyeater, superb starling, and laughing kookaburra. It’s also home to our only reptile species, the radiated tortoise. Most notably, this exhibit serves as a matchmaking facility for our flock of curious and intelligent kea, encouraging them to find a mate and breed to help preserve the species through their Species Survival Plan program.
